What are your Hours?

We are open every day of the week!

  • Monday-Friday - 7:30am to 8pm

  • Saturday - 8am to 5pm

We are closed for all major US holidays. A list of specific holidays can be found below:

Where are you located?

We are located in Sparta, WI at 904 South Black River St. right next to Burger King. If you’re coming from I-90 we are just down the hill, past the roundabout, and on the left. We have a map with our location on our Contact Us page.

Orders, Returns, Payments, and more!

Can I special order products through your store?

Yes! We do offer special orders if you need something specific that we don’t carry in store but can get through one of our distributors. There is no additional fee for this service. We receive freight orders on Thursdays and Fridays depending upon which company we order the product through, but orders must be in by either Tuesday or Wednesday so they can be on the truck for that week. Contact us directly or stop in for more information about this service.

Do you offer curbside pickup?

Yes we do! You can call us at 608-269-4076 and we will be happy to assist you!

What is your return policy?

Our return policy is 30 days from purchase with a receipt. If you lost your receipt we can look it up if you provide us with the date and approximate time you purchased the product(s). There are some exceptions to this, as authorized by a manager or the owner. Please try to retain all original packaging and return it in clean, useable condition. If you have any questions feel free to contact us or stop in and we can assist you further.

What kind of payments do you accept?

We accept all methods of payments, with a few exceptions. We only accept local checks with a valid photo ID, and we do not accept cryptocurrencies at this time. Otherwise we can take cash, credit, debit, gift cards/certificates and contactless payments such as Apple Pay or Google Pay.

How do you handle product warranties?

Most product warranties are handled through the manufacturer. Information can usually be found on the product label or through the manufacturer’s website. If you have a product that you think is defective due to manufacturer error, bring it in with your receipt and we will assist you. Sometimes we can replace certain products with the same item if we have them in stock.

Services and Products

What Key related services do you offer?

We offer key cutting and we also re-key locks! We can cut a wide range of keys, from house keys to car keys. You can find more information about our key cutting on the related page under the Services tab up at the top.

Re-keying locks can be done for a small fee. Just bring in the lock you want re-keyed as well as the key that currently works for it and the key you want it changed to. Just a note, the key will need to be the same type of key in order for it to be re-keyed. For example, we cannot re-key a Schlage-type lock to a Kwikset key, or vice versa. If you are unsure what kind of lock and keys you have, bring them in and one of our employees can assist you.

We can also create new padlocks for you using an existing key. There are limitations to this, as we only have a few options for padlocks that this will work with. And they can only be copied to a Master Lock key. Stop in and see us for more information if you wish to use this service.

What kinds of Tools do you rent?

We have a wide range of tools available for rent in our rental department. While we don’t have a list on our website yet, we plan to add this in the future. I want to match some paint I have, what do I need to bring in with me?

We have these listed on our Paint Matching page, but will include them here as well for easy reference.

If you are coming in to get paint matched, all we need is a small dry sample about the size of a dime. Larger samples do make it easier (about the size of a quarter or larger), but if you can only manage a small piece we can make it work! We can also match paint based on name or number from a large selection of color decks included in our paint matching software. This includes paint you may have bought at Walmart, Home Depot, Menards, Ace, etc. If you have a question, reach out to us on our Contact Us page and we can assist you further.

How long does it take to mix paint?

Paint mixing does require a bit of time. The actual paint shaking can take anywhere from 4 to 10 minutes depending upon how much colorant we have to use. Finding the color and placing the colorant in the can usually only takes a few minutes. Plan for at least 15 minutes if you are coming in to get paint mixed, more if you need more than one gallon or quart mixed or haven’t decided on which color you want.

If you need paint but don’t want to sit around and wait, we can still make it for you. Just leave your name and number with the employee mixing the paint and either stop in later or we can call you when it’s ready. We prefer you also pay for it before you leave in this case.

What other custom cutting services do you offer?

We also offer pipe cutting and threading, as well as cutting of glass, plexiglass, wire, rope, screen, and hose. More information about these services can be found on their respective pages, or by calling or stopping into the store and speaking with an employee.

Do you offer any Other repair services?

Yes we do! We can fix all manner of items, or assist you in fixing them yourself. We’ve fixed items like lamps, tools, pumps, and more. Complicated or newer items may be out of our expertise, but feel free to bring them down and we can see what we can do for you!

Can you give me advice on a project?

Absolutely! Many of our employees are DIYers and handy-people so we will do our best to point you in the right direction on your project.

Can I buy just one nail?

Of course! We can sell you whatever amount of hardware or fasteners that you need, as long as they aren’t packaged as a specific amount.

Can i bring my dog in?

Yes you may! We are a dog-friendly store and sometimes bring in our own dogs to visit the staff and customers. Please make sure you keep an eye on your dog while you are shopping, and let us know if they have an accident so we can get it cleaned up promptly.

Do you cut keys for spaceships?

Unfortunately we do not have this capability at this point, but we will look into adding it in the future!
